Below are a few questions that are often of concern when considering Permanent Makeup. Consultations are highly recommended for ALL permanent makeup services.

Question: Is this a Tattoo?
Answer: Permanent makeup is similar to tattoos in their technique, however with pmu, the artist goes no deeper than the upper dermis layer of the skin. We use organic pigments and not tattoo ink.

Question: Is there any discomfort/pain?
Answer: Unlike most traditional tattoo artists, we use a topical numbing agent before and during to reduce pain and discomfort. Most clients experience little to no discomfort.

Question: How long does most procedures take/last?
Answer: Most procedures take between 2 to 3 hours or longer. Permanent makeup services can last 6 months up to 3 years depending on skin type health & overall lifestyle. Procedures last longer with routine maintenance.

Question: Am I a good candidate for microblading?
Answer: Consultations are recommended at Beauty INKED and will determine if you are a good candidate or not. However, if you are looking to save time on your brow makeup regimen or having trouble filling in your brows or experience hair loss or thinning our services may be for you.

Question: When will I see results?
Answer: The results are immediate. Although it does take 10-12 days for the initial healing process for permanent services, followed by 30 days for the pigments to fully incorporate. 6 week touchups are highly recommended.

Question: Do I need to schedule time away from work?
Answer: Its not necessary. After care is strictly enforced.
7.
Question: Are there any side effects?
Answer: Like any medical or cosmetic procedure everyone has a risk of reaction. Allergic reactions or rash caused by the pigment or anesthetic is uncommon, but not impossible.

Question: What products and tools are used at your facility?
Answer: At Beauty Inked we use all disposable tools, and products. All of our tools come packaged and sealed with expiration dates. Our Pigments (inks) are all natural and organic.
